About the company:
The co. was established in 1939 by Birla Group to manufacture Bicycle and Bicycle parts with installed capacity of 5,44,000 bicycles. The co. made
losses and Govt. took over in 1974.Finally in the year1980 the co. was
nationalised and became wholly owned co. of Govt. of India.
